Thriller Questionnaire

This is my group's video questionnaire about our thriller idea, we explained to the people filmed what the general idea of our thriller is and asked them a few questions to help with the last few details for our thriller as we thought is was better to get outside opinion on our it to know how to improve. The people we spoke to generally liked our idea but the video shows them answering our questions.

Thriller Montage

This Youtube video shows short clips of lots of different movies, the clips show the most adrenaline pumping, creepy and scary scenes from each movie. I find this video very interesting and useful while I prepare for the filming of my thriller. The video displays important parts of the scary movies that build up to the eventually climax. This is useful to me because I can easily analyse each clip from the different movies and work out which factors of sound, light and angles so I can incorporate factors into my thriller. Most of the clips contain distorted angles and dark and dull colours, these are factors that I would like to incorporate into my thriller as I feel they are very effective in these extracts, also the type of music in the thrillers are very similar so I can assume from this that the music is associated with thrillers so incorporating this type of sudden and creepy music with give the audience a sense of thrill as well.

Preliminary Task - Final

This is the end product of our preliminary task, a few things went wrong during the film for example getting confused with 180 degree rule while applying it to the over the shoulder rule. Also when we transferred the video from the computer we used to edit the video the clip didn't work properly and then after transferring it again the sound stop working for the last couple of words. Although the sound cut out at the end we still used this as our final product as it didn't effect the components the we had to focus on for the task. In the final product of the task all the components flowed well and the main components were correctly executed so overall and I am pleased with it.
