Setting Up The Final Scene

The final scene of our thriller is based in an empty and abandoned garage/warehouse, after looking at many warehouses we discovered that all of the ones we found turned out to be quite unreliable with timings and prices, eventually we decided that the ones we wanted to use were too far out of our price range so we thought we would transform Kim's garage into the setting we wanted. We bought some props and red/blood paint to use around the room.

We looked into a few movies and tv shows to help us get ideas for our setting, 'criminal minds' and 'dexter'  were two tv series that we looked into a lot. In some of the story lines of these shows we found similar ideas portrayed and liked the way they were set out so we used some ideas from them, for example the the bloody mattress and the 'dangerous looking' garden tools. These features really portrayed the creepy and spine-chilling nature of the thriller that we wanted to put across.
