Introduction

Hi, I'm Gabs and I chose to do Media Studies for AS level because I find all the roles behind the entertainment industry to be extremely interesting and intriguing. I have a few relatives that work in production and behind the scenes at production companies. Hearing about how the business works has made me want to get involved in the business and learn more about the industry. So far I enjoy the topics we have been learning about in class and I have learnt a great deal that I was unaware of in the subject before I started and I am very excited to get what I have learnt into practice. Since I have started the course we have learnt about lighting and camera angles in great detail and have seen them in action. The techniques involved have given me many ideas to put into my thriller opening sequence.
